About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end customer journey of the Repairs and Voids service, ensuring the delivery of high levels of customer satisfaction. Your commitment to customer service will drive continuous improvement in our maintenance services, enhancing the quality of life of our tenants.

You’ll contract manage high value contracts, robustly challenging performance issues and managing large budgets, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory provisions, and supporting strategic planning and financial management within the service. Your role will include contract administration, managing payments, variations, and claims resolution. You’ll also develop and maintain policies relevant to the service.

You’ll proactively manage specialist areas such as disrepair and dampness, managing budgets and work programmes to improve customer satisfaction.

You will also uphold the guidelines set out by the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023, demonstrating a commitment to improving standards and ensuring the safety and quality of our social housing in compliance with this critical legislation. Leading a team of passionate Surveyors, you’ll ensure all activities meet business objectives and key performance indicators.

About you:

You will be a self-motivated individual with significant experience at a senior level in property services, including staff and budget management. You should have a professional or technical qualification in a relevant discipline, with knowledge of statutory regulations, various contract forms, and health & safety codes of practice.

A strategic thinker with a collaborative approach, you will bring new ideas and working practices to improve service delivery. Your ability to converse effectively with members of the public and provide accurate advice is crucial. You should be passionate about customer service and committed to addressing the needs and concerns of our residents.
