Starting salary £47,816pa with potential progression to £50,972pa on achieving designated skills and experience 
 
37 hours per week (hybrid working)

About the role:

As the Repairs and Voids Manager, you’ll oversee the efficient management of our responsive repairs and voids service. Leading a team of passionate Surveyors, you’ll ensure all activities meet business objectives and key performance indicators.

Your role will focus on directly addressing tenant issues, including the effective management of complex repairs such as damp and mould.

You’ll develop and maintain procedures for responding quickly and effectively to complaints and enquiries, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction. Your commitment to customer service will drive continuous improvement in our maintenance services, enhancing the quality of life of our tenants.

You’ll also be responsible for managing large budgets, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory provisions, and supporting strategic planning and financial management within the service.

About you:

You will be a self-motivated individual with significant experience at a senior level in property services, including staff and budget management. You should have a professional or technical qualification in a relevant discipline, with knowledge of statutory regulations, various contract forms, and health & safety codes of practice.

A strategic thinker with a collaborative approach, you will bring new ideas and working practices to improve service delivery.

Your ability to converse effectively with members of the public and provide accurate advice is crucial. You should be passionate about customer service and committed to addressing the needs and concerns of our residents.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
