Compliance Officer (Fire Safety)

Job Introduction

There has never been a more exciting time to join Welwyn Hatfield Council., We are looking to recruit a Fire Safety Compliance Officer to be responsible for helping meet statutory, non-statutory and Asset related obligations and reporting on and improving property compliance, including the provision of contract management, quality assurance, relevant legal services, and support with property access issues.

Role Responsibility

As Compliance Officer for Fire Safety, you will ensure we meet our statutory obligations and champion best practice as you maintain building compliance, support project management and monitor contract performance.

The Ideal Candidate

For the specialist Fire Safety role, you will require a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. You will need exceptional people skills and have the confidence to influence decisions using all your technical knowledge and skills.

Starting salary £39,382pa with potential progression to £42,383pa inclusive on achieving designated skills and experience 

37 hours per week (hybrid working)
